Whether cross-border tourism, study abroad or cross-border visits related to international business and trade activities, these are eventually reflected in trade in travel services. Globally, services trade in travel is the highest, accounting for about one quarter of global services trade. While china's travel services have grown rapidly in recent years, overall imports of travel services are much higher than exports, i. E. China's consumption of travel abroad is much larger than its entry into the country. With the introduction of a series of measures to facilitate inbound tourism, there has been a rapid growth of inbound tourism. The next step would be to expand the number of inbound tourists and attract more tourists from abroad, and to explore the potential for increasing the consumption of inbound tourists and making greater use of inbound tourism。
As in the case of trade in goods, the subject of cross-border services import-export transactions, or “service products”, which are recognized by offshore customers, necessarily has a unique advantage over the services provided in their home countries, and is largely reflected in the intensity of knowledge and technology。
In many subdivision areas, our country has accumulated advantages: for example, we have a large number of software engineers who can take over the outsourcing of international services, and can do more in the areas of software and information technology services such as cloud services, artificial intelligence, block chains, etc.; we depend on the advantages of chinese manufacturing going out and exporting products, which can lead out professional services, finance, insurance, payment settlements, etc.; we are rich in cultural resources and have a large number of technical and cultural creative talent, and we have a certain strength in games, cartoons, web plays and short video trips. Overall, there is still considerable room for growth in our knowledge-intensive trade in services。
