I. Geographical knowledge points
The cause of the four great fisheries
There are four main fisheries in the world: north sea fisheries, hokkaido fisheries, newfoundland fisheries and peru fisheries. The causes of the four major fisheries can be divided into two categories:
1 cold + warm. In areas where cold and warm currents intersect, the seawater is disturbed and deep seawater surges, bringing with it large amounts of nutrients and providing sufficient bait for fish. Examples include the north sea fishery (north atlantic warm current + east greenland cold current), the hokkaido fishery (japan warm current + 1,000 island cold current), and the newfoundland fishery (mexico bay warm current + labrador cold current)。
2 up the compensation stream. The strong south-east wind, which has taken the surface seawater, has led to an upwelling of deep seawater, which has brought with it large quantities of nutrient salts, and plankton, which have grown in large numbers, providing sufficient bait for fish, such as fishing grounds in peru。

Ii. Geographical examples
Read the material and answer the following questions。
In papua new guinea, mineral deposits (copper, gold, oil, natural gas, etc.) are rich in forest resources, multi-seabed earthquakes and marine fisheries are developing well。
(1) the reason for the abundance of the country's fisheries resources。
(2) the advantages of establishing large-scale furniture manufacturing plants in the country are:。
Answer:
(1) low latitudes, shallow seawater, sufficient heat and light for the growth of plankton and fish; extensive coral reefs, which provide habitats for fish; disruption of ocean currents, more earthquakes on the sea floor, disturbance of seawater, extensive nutrients on the sea floor, promotion of surface plankton growth and provision of bait for fish。
(2) 1 forest resources are abundant and raw materials are sufficient; 2 wood materials are of good quality and high visibility; 3 cheap labour is abundant; 4 international markets are extensive; 5 government policies are supportive and foreign aid is available。
Precision: (1) analysis of the causes of fishery abundance. As can be seen from the figure, the country is located at 0° ~10°s, with low latitudes and sufficient heat to facilitate the growth of plankton and to provide sufficient bait for fish; the extended range of coral reefs indicates that the sea is shallow, well-lighted, and can contribute to the growth of plankton, and that widely distributed coral reefs can provide habitats for fish; and the currents are barrierd by islands and become more disordered, with more underwater earthquakes, disturbance of the seawater, a trophic surge in the sea floor, and an abundance of bait for the species。
(2) analysis of the locational advantages of setting up furniture manufacturing plants. 1 the country is rich in forest resources, rich in raw materials and of high quality;2 labour is abundant and cheap, international markets are extensive, local government policies are supportive and international assistance is forthcoming。
Iii. Geographical summary
The issue of this section is less difficult and the solution is: analysis of the caloric resources based on local latitudes; analysis of the depths of the seawater, based on the distribution of coral reefs, leading to analysis of the receptionible light resources, which can provide a habitat for fish; analysis of the characteristics of ocean currents and, in conjunction with earthquakes, analysis of the state of the seawater (vulnerable to disturbance, resulting in an upwelling of deep seawater), leading to analysis of the impact on fisheries resources; and analysis of the location advantages of the establishment of furniture manufacturing plants, based on local forest resources, labour, international markets and policies。
The locational factors affecting the layout of industrial and commercial zones fall into two main categories:
1 natural factors (8): abundance of raw materials, abundance of fuel (near source/fuel origin), size of plots, flat terrain, soil fertility, abundance of water, climate-friendly and geological stability (less natural disasters)。
2 socio-economic factors (7): large market, sufficient labour (cheap), transport facilitation, low land prices, policy support, adequate financing, advanced science and technology。
