At a recent recognition session organized by the shanghai city council's ministry of information, the shanghai city council for science and technology and the shanghai city association for science and technology, the shanghai people's network competition for energy conservation and science was attended by 27,866 people, including 14 in the finals。
The event was mainly in the form of a web-based response to inform the public about the latest scientific and technological achievements in energy efficiency and reduction, learning about the scientific knowledge of energy efficiency and reduction, and learning about life-saving know-how and practical approaches to water and electricity conservation。

In recent years, zhp has been active in creating a “green green pool” with a focus on low-carbon energy conservation, advocating for green life with a view to bringing about a strong effort to reduce the spread of scientific knowledge on energy-saving and reducing emissions, and creating a “low-carbon” wind across the region that will deepen the concept of energy conservation。
Lectures on science. Qing po family in institutions, communities, schools, villages, military camps, etc. More than 20 lectures were given on energy-saving emissions reduction and climate, and energy conservation in life, reaching 3,000 people. During this year's science and technology event week, chinese university students, professor ban kensheng of shanghai, were specifically invited to give a lecture on “long talk low carbon”。
Publication of science books. Following the publication in 2009 of energy saving, reducing emissions and revolving economy, our region has produced a series of “green living” books to promote green living and develop a low-carbon economy, including three editions of green living, food and accommodation, home easy living, health guides for healthy living, with 15,000 copies published. From the drops in everyday life, these books disseminate scientific knowledge about the low-carbon economy and green life to the general community in plain and accessible language and lively illustrations, inculcating new ideas for low-carbon economic development and promoting healthy lifestyles. The book series is also funded from the shanghai book creation and publication fund. These books are distributed to citizens ' homes in the form of science and technology, science activities, and gifts to schools, farm houses, etc。

Conducting science activities. In 2009, a knowledge contest on energy efficiency and emission reduction was held on the web, with 2541 participants from all over the region. This year's science and technology week was marked by the theme of “living low carbon, we're in action”, which launched the low carbon living initiative for citizens across the region. The community of ningpo in xiayang street was awarded the low carbon living community of practice, which launched the green living science series. Launching the first auto service science store in qingpo. Low-carbon science board tours to promote low-carbon knowledge。
A low-carbon demonstration project. The pilot roll-out of energy-saving emission reduction projects for communities in new qingura in xiayang street was included as a science feature project in 2009. Experience has been gained through the use of energy-efficient abatement projects such as solar street lighting systems, sun-covering technologies, soundproofing facilities, power-saving outlets and energy-saving lamps, water-saving taps and water-saving toilets, thereby promoting environmental and energy-efficient sub-regions throughout the streets. A workshop on the promotion of low-carbon energy-saving technologies was held in the presence of professor wang yuhye, centre for solar power generation and refrigeration engineering, shanghai university of transport, to explore ways to further scale up the promotion of low-carbon energy-saving technologies to effectively engage citizens at zero distance from low-carbon livelihoods。
Small hands hold hands and practice low-carbon lives together. Organizing the greening of green action for low-carbon living series of practice activities for primary and secondary school students in qingura district, and evaluating the 10 low-carbon dynamite gold award and the 16 low-carbon dynamite silver award to promote the concept of “energy-efficient and green emission reduction” among primary and secondary school students. There are currently two municipal “green schools” and 20 district “green schools” throughout the region。
