As a long-standing researcher concerned with the problems of poverty alleviation and shared wealth, i and prof. Zhao yanxia led the research team to witness the arduous exploration of the research team from the subject to the final version of the monograph, in 2022, in connection with the major project of the humanities and social science department of the department of education of hebei province, " the theoretical logic, incentives and pathways from poverty alleviation to shared wealth " . For many years, the zhao yangxia team has worked in the field of poverty alleviation and rural renewal. The core members have long been engaged in cross-cutting research on the optimal allocation of land resources, governance at the grass-roots level and mutual enrichment. They have hosted and participated in national and provincial ministerial conferences. They have produced a series of influential research findings in the areas of assessment of poverty reduction policies and reform of the marketization of land elements. Their research has always been based on chinese practice and has both theoretical depth and policy value. This monograph has been refined on the basis of the results of a major project on the fight against poverty in hebei province, which has brought together long-term reflections and empirical research on china's struggle against poverty and shared wealth, both as a theoretical summary of the great practices of poverty eradication and as a forward-looking exploration of the path to common prosperity。
The book systematically summarizes practical experience and theoretical achievements on the road to poverty eradication and mutual prosperity in china. Building on chinese practice, the author has developed a comprehensive conceptual and analytical framework focusing on the interface between poverty reduction and mutual wealth, focusing on key practical issues such as “how to transition from poverty to common wealth” and “how to advance the process of mutual enrichment in different regions according to local circumstances” and analysing china’s underlying logic and practice strategy of moving from absolute poverty eradication to full wealth from a multidisciplinary perspective. The book is well-structured and well-structured, both theoretically and empirically based, reflecting the solid research and deep policy insights of the author team。
Overall, the book has three salient features:
One is a well-structured and structured logical system. Based on the practical process of china's fight against poverty and shared wealth, the author has developed a complete research chain, based on historical evolution, theoretical sources, policy practice, etc., “conceptual definition-theory-institutional analysis-path design”. Starting with the great achievements of the fight against poverty, the book systematizes the theoretical foundations of shared wealth and goes on to analyse in depth the key mechanisms of land allocation, digital credit governance and the achievement of ecological values, and finally proposes a phased, subregional path to achievement. The logical layer is progressive, with natural linkages between chapters, reflecting stronger systems and integrity。
The second is theoretically linked to practice, and research methods are multifaceted. At the theoretical level, the author combines interdisciplinary theories such as political economics, development economics, and institutional economics, and systematically reshapes the underlying logic of poverty alleviation and shared wealth. In the research methodology, the authors have focused on the close integration of theory and practice, using a combination of statistical data, field research, case comparison and remote sensing monitoring to enhance the scientific nature and persuasiveness of research. In particular, in case selection, regional practice covering different stages of development in the mid-east and west provides a precise reference for policy formulation by providing comparative analysis that reveals the diversity and complexity of the paths of co-benefits。
Thirdly, the issues are clear and policy recommendations are pragmatic. In keeping with the current reality of obstacles to the advancement of common wealth, such as rural-urban disparities, regional imbalances in development, and poor factor flow, the authors have proposed a three-pronged model of incentives for “land security — digital empowerment — ecological transformation” and have designed specific policy tools, including gef accounting and credit ratings for block chains. These proposals are both theoretically forward-looking and practical in nature, reflecting the academic commitment of the scientific community, based on china's national situation and responding to real needs。
Joint enrichment is a fundamental requirement of chinese socialism and a long-term system project. At present, my country still faces a number of challenges in advancing the process of common prosperity, such as the persistence of inadequate development imbalances, persistent regional, rural-urban and group disparities and inadequate mechanisms for the allocation of factors to the market. The question of how to build a more equitable and sustainable common wealth promotion mechanism in the new phase of development is a major concern of the academic and policy communities. It is against this background that the book entitled " the theoretical logic, incentives and pathways from poverty to common wealth " was produced, not only as a theoretical summary of china’s commitment to poverty alleviation, but also as a forward-looking exploration of the common wealth path, reflecting the deep accumulation and innovative thinking of the author’s team in this field。
In the light of the above, the book is a monograph based on chinese practice, with theoretical innovations and operational policy. It not only systematically summarizes china's valuable experience in its fight against poverty, but also provides china's wisdom and chinese programme for the global fight against poverty and shared prosperity. It is believed to be of great reference and inspiration to scholars working in the fields of public administration, agro-economics, social security, and to practitioners involved in rural renewal and co-false policymaking。
