Let's start with the basics of this railroad. When this heavy iron is built, there are too many benefits. To begin with, the revival of the old zhuang revolution zone, which can directly radiation 52,000 square kilometres, 15 million to 20 million people, must be aware that the old zone infrastructure has been replaced by a line that used to lack high iron. For the people, the benefits are real. In the areas along the han, baal and south china routes, where previously rural dwellers generally had disposable income below the national average, high irons have led to industrial development and have made it easier to find more income-generating roads, whether for work or small business. It will also promote new forms of urbanization and rural revitalization, allowing more people to reap the dividends of development。

Of course, there are challenges in moving forward. Planning and approval are not yet in the national five-year plan, and progress depends on approval at the national level; it is a matter of money; investment is so large that more state funding will be required; the project will be difficult, with more than 75 per cent of the route going through the qinba mountains, which is geologically complex, with a bridge ratio of more than 75 per cent, i. E. Most of the sections of the road are either bridges or tunnels, and the risk of rock blasts and flooding while construction is under way; moreover, it will be difficult to balance construction and environmental protection through ecologically sensitive areas, such as the chuan reserve; although there are coordination mechanisms in place in the two provinces, there is a need for continued synergy。
The response strategy, however, has long been considered. At the policy level, the two provincial capitals have continued to report jointly to the national ministries with a view to integrating the project into the “fifty five”; technically, three-dimensional geological modelling and intelligent excavations will be used to deal with engineering challenges; ecologically, route design will be optimized, for example, through the adoption of the concept of “eco-compensatory tunnel” to minimize environmental impacts; and coordination will strengthen the inter-provincial joint conference system to address the major problems of building standards and models。
In fact, this high iron is not just a railway, but a “engine” that activates the development of the old zhuang revolution. If the construction started as planned during the “155” period, it would become an additional high-level inter-provincial rail route to the north and south, perfecting the high-level iron network in the west, giving new impetus to the development of the west, and allowing millions of people along the road to take another step in their quality of life。
