Now the city likes to grow on the balcony. Why? You don't have to go all the way to the market to watch your own food grow up every day. I've been growing on the balcony for years, and today i've taken out all five of the most suitable vegetables i've ever grown, so you can do it yourself

Onion: grow it at once and cut it with your hands
The onion is a permanent guest in the kitchen. She cooks, mixs noodles, cooks soup. I used to buy one that i couldn't run out of, put it in the fridge and plant it on the balcony. That's a relief
You grow onions in two ways: with seeds and with the rest of the root. Find a flower pot, if any, with soft earth, and cast it on it, and cover it thin and pour water. Then put it on the balcony where it can get to the sun. Don't worry. It might grow a little slow at first, but when it comes out, make sure it's moving up
The more lazy way is to use the leftover onions. When you buy your food, you leave a piece of onion with a root, cut into a 3 cm long piece, buried in the soil and exposed about a centimeter to the top. You can see the new sprouts in a week, and you can start cutting them in a month。
Onions are the ones who fear water, so don't water it too hard, it's just a little wet. Once a month, i use thin bean cake, especially good. In summer, when the sun is poisoned, it's best to find a place for it to be half-enjoyed, or the leaves are yellow。
Cut the onions with no heartache and cut them two centimetres above the root, the remainder of which will be followed by new leaves. I've been growing onions for six months, and i still have them cut every day

Quillery: growing this is the key to the early bud
The fragrance is the fragrance of the spices. Potato silks, cucumbers, dumplings. But the fragrances that are bought on the market, they don't come home long enough
The fragrance seed shell is particularly hard, with the direct seed growing very slowly. I've got a little trick: bubble the seeds with warm water for eight hours and crush the shell gently with your hand, so that treated seeds can germinate in three days, twice as fast as direct
On the soil, fragrance likes soft, well drained soil. I used to mix it with one sand and two ordinary gardens, and if there was no sand on hand, i could add pearl rock to it. The point is, don't use that sticky dirt。
The cuisine takes 4-6 hours of sunlight per day, both morning and afternoon. The water should be watered in an appropriate amount, and the soil should be wet but not accumulate. I usually see the topsoil dry, about two or three days。
It's been growing for about 20 days, and it's 10 cm tall, and it's ready for harvest. Don't cut it all off, slit the top leaves, leave the bottom behind, and it will grow new leaves. This is how my fragrance is recycled. It'll last two or three months
Winter cuisine can be grown as long as it is inside the balcony. If it's too hot in the summer, find a half-massive position, otherwise it's easy to moss. The fragrance is bad when the fragrance blooms, so eat it when you find signs of graze

Vacuum: the lazy must grow, the stronger they are
Empty cabbage is designed for lazy people! It's super-viable, it's alive in the earth, it's growing fast, it's yielding at a particularly high rate, it's called the "high-yielding king" of the balcony vegetable industry。
The simplest way to grow an empty cabbage is to plug in. The empty cabbage bought from the market leaves a few leaves with leaves, approximately 15 centimetres long. Remove the leaves below and tilt them into the wet soil at depths of 3-5 cm. The first three days of the incubation were put in the shade to slow it down and wait for the new roots to grow before the sun shines。
Empty cabbage is a big stomach king, especially fat. I water it once a week, and the simplest thing is to ferment it with rice or to dip it with bread. With enough fertilizer, the emptiness is particularly strong, leaves are large and green, and the penis is particularly strong。
It's about 30 centimeters long enough to harvest. Two to three sections are left at the bottom, and the rest is completely strangled. After the strangulation, do not rush water, dry the wound and then water it. The rest of the staves will soon be sprouts, and a week later they will see new leaves coming out。
In the summer, an empty cabbage can hold three or four, and even in winter, as long as the balcony is not particularly cold. I've had an empty cabbage on my balcony from spring to autumn. It's almost 78 times more expensive than buying food

Pepper: vegetables and decorations
Blessed are friends who love hot peppers! The balcony is so simple and practical, and the red peppers are hanging in the green leaves, and it's like a little lantern on the balcony。
Paprika likes big pots, at least 15 centimeters deep, or the roots don't stretch. And we used the soil of an ordinary garden with a third of the sand of the river and a third of the soil of the foliage, so that it breathed and watered. Don't use that really sticky dirt. Chili root doesn't like to hold it。
The hot peppers are particularly fond of the sun, which takes at least six hours of sunlight per day, and the more the light reaches, the more the fruit is produced. Water should not be overworked, and soil surfaces should be dried up and re-fed, especially when flowers are blooming, too much water can fall. I've got a little trick to lighten it with a tampons and pollinate it, so that the peppers are more even。
When the paprika grows to about 20 centimetres, strangling the top is called the "top-to-top" which leads to more long branches and more fruit. I'll add some potassium phosphate fat, like potassium dihydrohydrophosphate, melted down in water, and chili is big and red。
It'll take 40 to 50 days from flowering to harvest, but a pepper can give you 20 to 30 fruit. Red, green chili with branches, pretty and practical. It's like a "carrying-up" on the balcony

Pickles: three in a month
The cabbage is a vegetable with a particularly short growing cycle, from planting down to harvesting for 25 to 30 days, and is particularly suitable for cropping on the balcony on a rotational basis。
It's super simple to grow cabbage by spreading the seeds evenly on the moist soil and covering a thin layer of soil. At temperatures between 15 and 25°c, three to five days will be able to germinate. If it's cold, you can get a membrane to keep it warm, but keep a small breath of air, or it'll be trouble。
The cabbage is not very demanding for containers, and can be used in flower basins, foam boxes, plastic drums, and even in abandoned cookie boxes, with a few small holes in the bottom. I usually mix the soil with plain nutrients. The point is to be soft, not too sticky。
The amount of water required to grow the cabbage is moderate, so it is sufficient to keep the soil wet. I watered the next day, and i saw the topsoil dry. The cabbage doesn't need to be fertilized, so the soil can grow well with basic nutrients. If the leaves were yellow, they could be replenished with thin bean pie。
When the cabbage grows to about 15 centimetres, the harvest begins. You can strangle the leaves or pull them up. Once you're done with this, plant the next one, so that it can be re-planted, three pickles of cabbage a month, and supply it all year round
If it's too hot in the summer, you can choose the hot little cabbage species or move the basin to a semi-vaginal location. It's cold on the balcony in the winter, with the choice of cold-resistant species such as shanghai blue, or foams around the basin。

Summary:
The balcony plantes these five kinds of food, and it's really easy. Don't look at all the details i've told you, but it's just planting, pouring water, tanning the sun and the rest of them. Even if you're a plant killer, they're basically viable because they're very resilient。

Growing food not only saves money (the amount of money spent on buying food for a year) but it also saves food that is free of pesticides. And most importantly, watching your own food grow from a small seed to a big meal, it's really great
If you think it's useful, give me a little bit of attention, and i'll share more of the know-how on the balcony, so that we can all eat fresh vegetables at home. Don't think too much about growing food
