On 24 july, at an expert on-site evaluation session organized at the seed station of the agricultural department of guangdong province, the pollen "dig powder 1" selected by the fruit tree of my compound passed successfully. This is the first of the country's dwarfed pollen species that my home has been home-grown and is an important breakthrough for pollen-based breeding。
Following an on-site visit, the experts agreed that: the species had a visible dwarfing characteristic, with the mantle having an average height of 2. 35 m, which was 1. 5-2 m below the average powdered range, and was strong in terms of wind resistance; that the fertility period had been reduced by about three months compared to the average powder, which facilitated crop management; that the average single production of the new herb was 21. 2 kg, which was better productive; and that the fruit combing was well organized and of good quality。
At the same time, the on-site evaluation of the pyramid 1 pollen attracted more than 200 agricultural science and technology extension workers, growers, banana breeding plants and secondary growers from guangxi, maoming, yangjiang and changjiang districts (cities and districts). The participants in the meeting rated the new variety of "dwarf powl 1" in a comprehensive manner, with indications that cultivation would be expanded, and some breeders expressing a desire to acquire intellectual property for commercialization of the variety。
Guangdong, which has the highest area of banana cultivation and production in the country, is the largest banana-producing area in the country. However, the effects of the cyclones on banana cultivation have been significant. Starting in 2008, with the support of the ministry of agriculture, which is the home of the fruit tree, the national technical system for banana industries, the ministry of science and technology, the 863 molecular cultivation project, and the guangdong province science and technology project, a study was carried out on the issue of the single variety of pollinators that are currently being commercialized in the country, the high vulnerability of plants to wind, difficulties in management of cultivation and the long growth cycle. After many years of research and testing, the researchers used as a material the embryonic cell suspension system (ecs) of the national main pollinator type “hand powder 1”, which was mutagenic by 60co-gamma ray radiation and eventually produced as “dump powder 1” by choice in the field. The new plant varieties of the ministry of agriculture have now been declared, and their widespread expansion will further enrich our pollen varieties, adjust their structure and contribute to the healthy and sustainable development of our banana industry and to increased yields for farmers。
