In his reply to susherin, hu chi said so: “i sympathize with your outrage, but i thought it was unnecessary to attack his private actions. What harm is it to us when lu attacks us so quickly? He is dead, and we can leave all the small sections aside and talk about what is in his mind, what is in his mind, what is in his faith, what is in denial, what is worth, and what is worthless. Such criticism can certainly be effective.”
