On june 2, the chinese communist party beijing municipal school (beijing school of administration) and nanjing university jointly organized an academic seminar in beijing on the theme “concentration of the new knowledge system for the empowerment of chinese philosophy and social science in the new role of academic journals”. Specialists and scholars from the national higher education institutions, the party school system and the academic periodicals have gathered to carry out in-depth research on the development of an autonomous knowledge system for philosophy and social sciences in china, in particular the mission of academic journals to build an autonomous knowledge system for philosophy and social sciences in china。
At the end of 2024, nanjing university led the launch of the nanjing initiative to promote the quality development of philosophical social sciences journal, which generated a lively response from the national academic community.
