I don't know where to start. Worrying about the complexity of the process? Don't panic! This article, from the preparation of the registration to the final receipt, combes the critical steps, attentions and time nodes of the process, helps you to plan clearly, and less bends。
01 prior to registration: 3 prepared
Registration is the first step in the driving examination, where needs are identified and materials are made available in advance, reducing follow-up difficulties。
Make sure you drive
Common para-drive-type scenarios vary, with priority being given to daily use:
(a) c1 (manual blocking of small cars): manual block / auto-blocking of small cars, low-speed cargo vehicles, etc., which is appropriate for a group of people who want to balance “driving flexibility” (e. G., manual blockage of old cars, trucks)
C2 (autonomous blocking of small vehicles): only self-engineered cars, with fewer examination items (stopping and starting without ramps), simpler operations, suitable for daily commuters and people who do not want to learn to switch sides
To meet the eligibility criteria
Age requirement (based on the new regulation of 2025): c1/c2/c5 requires 18 years of age or older and 70 years of age requires a triple test of memory, judgment, reaction
Physical condition: a logarithmic vision table 4. 9 and above (one-eye visual impairment, 5. 0 + horizontal vision, 150 degrees c1/c2); no red, green blind; good thumbs (three fingers left hand, c1/c2); lower limbs of not more than 5 cm duration (one lower limb loss, c2)。
Registration materials ready
No residence permit required, national “one pass office”, core material consisting of:
Registration phase 02: driving schools + contracting
Driving school

Qualifications: regular driving schools with a road transport operating licence to avoid “black driving schools” (no fixed premises, temporary stationing of trainers)
(a) services: reference to the curator (quieted with witnesses, public opinion assessment/red book evaluation), focusing on “are there many people in one car” (ideal status 1 car 3-4 people with guaranteed time for exercise), “does the coach verbally abuse” (e. G., extra time, catch-up fee)
Looking at accessibility: priority is given to “near home/neighbor company” “with delivery services” driving schools, reducing commuting time; if you want to get a quick pass, ask whether you can give priority to school hours and exams。
Contracts signed
Regular contracts must be signed, focusing on:
(a) cost breakdown: it is clear that the total tuition fee includes “hours of study, examination fees, principal costs” and that items not covered (e. G., catch-up fees, mock examination fees) need to be indicated
Service commitments: e. G. `guarantees for the duration of the exercise' `approval assistance' `whether or not the additional examination is free of charge'
Liability for breach of contract: compensation if the school did not arrange the training/test as agreed
Refund clause: explicit rate of refund when “not completed / not completed”
03 studies and examinations:
From subject one to subject four, each section has clear time requirements and test rules, with the most efficient advance by process。
Subject i

Study: road traffic safety laws, regulations (e. G., drunk driving penalties, traffic signs), motor vehicle basics, 12 school hours (line + line integration)
Conditions for appointment: after completion of school hours, appointments are made through the “transfer 12123” app, usually for 3-7 days (presumably extended in popular areas)
(a) details of the examination: 100 points, 90 points, 100 questions (judgement 40 + 60 questions), 45 minutes; there is an opportunity at the scene for a supplementary examination, which requires 10 days to reschedule
Subject ii
(a) learning content: c1 examination 5 (back-to-back garage, side parking, curve travel, straight-angle turn, ramp stop and start) and c2 test 4 (no ramp fix); 16 school hours
(b) conditions for appointment: c1/c2 after qualifying for the first subject takes 10 days to make an appointment, and the waiting period for the examination is 5-10 days
Details of the examination: 100 full and c1/c2 80 successful; the examination is completed consecutively according to the specified route; there is an on-site opportunity for an additional examination, which requires 10 days to be renewed
Subject iii
Subject iii includes “road driving skills” (commonly known as the “scientific third path examination”) and “scientific-civilization driving commons” (commonly known as “scientific iv”), which are subject to a separate examination, except for the examination of scientific third path examination, which is qualified for the same day。
(1) road driving skills (road tests)
Learning content: 16 items (c2 without reduction) for preparation, start-up, straight-line movement, additional and debarment operations, pullovers, etc., required 24 school hours
Conditions for appointment: 30 days for c1 and 20 days for c2 to make an appointment and 5-10 days for the examination after qualifying for the first subject

Examination details: 100 points, 90 points, and c1/c2 miles, 3 kilometres; focus on “security awareness” (e. G., turning light from the start, slowing down through the intersection); on-the-spot one re-examination opportunity, 10 days later
(2) common sense of safe and civilized driving (section iv)
Learning: 10 school hours for safe driving, bad weather driving, accident first aid, typical accident cases
(a) conditions for the examination: once a road driver has completed his or her skills, he or she can take the day test
Details of the examination: 100 points, 90 points, 50 questions (judgement 20 + single + 20 + 10 extras), 30 minutes; one on-the-spot re-arrangement (no interval)
Pass phase 04
Certificate method
(a) on-site accreditation: after being qualified, section iv attends a “certificate oath ceremony” at the garage, where it obtains a paper driving permit
Postal certificate: sent by express delivery (usually 1-3 days) prior to examination at the “transfer 12123” app at the address of the receipt and after the certificate issued by the station。
Note:
The period of internship is 12 months from the date of receipt of the certificate and requires the posting of a “internship sign” on the back of the vehicle, during which the person may not be taken on a single highway (with the corresponding driver's licence for more than 3 years) and the licence will be cancelled after the completion of the 12 minutes
Validity of driver's licence: the first licence is valid for 6 years and the first one is valid for 12 minutes per score period for 6 years. The licence is valid for 10 years; the first pass is valid for 10 years。
