Distinction between “relevant” and “relevant” use
One of the comrades who worked as secretary asked how the “relevant circumstances” of the “relevant authorities” differed from the “relevant circumstances” of the “relevant authorities”。
The meaning of “relevant” differs from that of “relevant”。
“relevant” means “relevant”. The term “relevant” or “involved in” is used. For example:
(1) i would ask secretary liu to make an appointment with the head of the department concerned, to be discussed on wednesday。
(2) on this issue, feedback has now been received and i will consolidate the material for delivery to the office tomorrow。
(3) please notify the persons concerned as soon as possible so that they are prepared in advance。
(4) the secretary-general is requested to give a briefing。
“relevant” means “connected” or “involving”. For example:
(1) the fraternal peoples are united, helping each other, and moving forward on the path of socialism。
(2) indeed, the two issues are closely interrelated。
(3) the development of the two villages at the bottom of the mountain has been closely linked over the years。
(4) the development of education is closely linked to the economic development of the region。
As can be seen from the examples above, “relevant” tends to refer to multiple aspects of something. And “relationship” means that two things are related. In other words, the word “relevant” is often about something that is “one-way” to other things, and it is about more than one thing; the word “relevant” is often about something that is related to another or another thing, that is, it is about “two-way”. It is therefore appropriate to say “the two things are closely related” and not “the two things are closely related”. At the same time, it may be useful to refer to “relevant circumstances” of “the persons concerned”。
It is true, however, that in the use of the written language, especially in the use of the official language, the expression “relevant circumstances” of the “relevant person” of the “relevant authority” is seen from time to time. That is to say, there's a certain prevalence. Indeed, the word “relevant” in these statements means “relevant”。
As there is a certain prevalence, it is advisable to promote the use of terms such as “relevant circumstances” of the “relevant persons” of the “relevant authorities”, on the one hand, and “relevant circumstances” of the “relevant persons” of the “relevant authorities” on the other。
