On 25 june, xinhua network guiyang (journalist), co-sponsored by the guizhou bureau of the national mine security inspectorate, the emergency management department of guizhou province, the guizhou energy department, the guizhou human resources and social security department, the guizhou general trade union, and the guizhou provincial council of the young communist league, the fourteenth guizhou mine rescue skills competition, hosted by the people's government of jinsha county and the jinsha county emergency response brigade, was opened in jinsha county, where 46 mine rescue teams and 460 ambulance wardens will compete for five days。

It was described that the purpose of the mine rescue skills competition was to further the development of a mine emergency rescue system and teams in guizhou, to continuously improve the overall quality of mine emergency response teams, to sharpen and improve the tactical level and to safeguard the safe production of mines。
The 46 teams were divided into major disaster relief teams (9 mine rescue teams) and general disaster relief teams (37 mine relief independent squadrons), and the competition was divided into group and individual projects, covering mining rescue theoretical examinations, simulation relief, integrated skills, trauma first aid, respiratory operation, cpr+aed, etc。

At the opening ceremony, wang liang, a member of the party committee of the national security production emergency relief centre and director of the mine rescue centre of the ministry of emergency management, stated that a mining skills competition was an important means of improving emergency response capacity and a key platform for testing the operational level of relief teams。
