From 22 to 25 july, the 8th “skill shan west” professional skills competition, sponsored by the provincial energy bureau, the provincial emergency response department, the provincial people's social services department and the provincial general trade union, was held in changji, and 51 participants from 17 mine rescue teams from all over the province conducted a fierce competition at the scene。
The skills competition for mine rescue workers combines the development needs of mine emergency relief in the new era, and the provincial emergency department is responsible for the development of technical competition implementation programmes and the organization of the competition. The competition is geared towards enhancing the “one-size-fits-all multi-power” of mine rescue, focusing on forward-looking technological developments, investing in operational capabilities, and setting competition subjects in science。
The competition is rich and diverse, covering both theoretical appraisals and integrated exercise. The theoretical examination is based on a machine test and a thorough examination of the extent to which the candidates have mastered the relevant laws and regulations, such as the coal production safety regulations, the mine safety regulations and the mine rescue rules, to ensure that relief workers have a solid theoretical basis. The combination of physical energy, combined skills and specialized skills is innovative, and sets up physical energy projects such as climbing ropes, heavy runs, crossing short space, transporting wounded persons, as well as a combination of oxygen respirator operations, restricted space rescue, water rescue, resuscitation, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, among nine subjects, each of which interpenetrates with each other, with a full distance of 800 metres, requiring the player to perform a continuous “one dragon” operation to fully test the player's emergency response capacity and operational skills. At the same time, a special skill course on multi-gas analysis laboratory equipment has been developed to test the ability of athletes to operate on advanced detection equipment。
