As technology advances, the undercarriage becomes more complex and scientific. In an earlier article, the writer described a body stabilizer not available in all trucks, the horizontal stabilizer pole, as described in the article, “the parts are of a small effect and there is a “fast speed” over the bend”. Here, another indispensable component of the truck, the thrust pole, is described in detail。

Five different forms

The thrust pole is a component used to maintain the stability of the bridge and consists mainly of components such as a connector pole, a straight ball, an upper seat, one end connected to the bridge and the other to the frame. Together with other components responsible for the stabilization of the bridge, the component ensures vertical stability of the bridge while the vehicle is travelling or on brakes, although some poles also guarantee horizontal stability of the bridge。

The most widely applied domestic applications are the v-shaped push poles and the i-shaped push poles, which are not common in direct parallel. Of course, we're impressed with the brain holes of the scabs, which have developed two more special push poles, one called the "pushboard" and the other an x-shaped push pole. I'm going to introduce you to the thrust pole。
A little pusher pole

When the vehicle was braked, the thrust pole slowed down or stopped along with the wheel, but the frame remained forward because of inertia. In the absence of thrusters, vertical deviations occur on the bridge, which avoids movement。

As the vehicle moved forward, the wheel pole, the bridge and wheel, together, drove the frame, when the wheel pole (and other parts) passed the thrust of the bridge to the body and synchronized the bridge with the frame。

In addition, the v-shaped thrust pole and the “pushboard” also have a horizontal stabilizing effect on the bridge, which can prevent movement in the right or the right direction. When the bridge moves around, the triangle stability structure of the v pole prevents deviation of the bridge and ensures the smoothness of the vehicle。
