The protection of intellectual property rights has been strengthened by the introduction of such systems as the “elements of the work of the province of guizhou in 2022 to combat infringement of intellectual property rights and to produce counterfeit and false goods”。
In addition, the ministry of information of the provincial council of guizhou and the provincial copyright office have organized the first phase of the construction of the national folk culture copyright trade base (southwest), which, after more than a year of effort, has begun to bear fruit. The clear focus on “ethnic folk culture”, on “southwest”, and on “copyright trade” have led to an initial development paradigm centred on the large trade-based data service platform, supported by cultural copyright finance, and ecological development in the copyright industry。
As a next step, the deputy director-general and member of the department of market supervision of guizhou stated that guizhou would coordinate the deployment of priority tasks such as the construction and protection of intellectual property rights in the province, and that three ministries, including the national intellectual property authority, would be involved in a joint implementation programme to support new ways for the development of intellectual property rights in guizhou in the western part of the new era。
