On the morning of 16 may, the inaugural conference of the association of technical specialists in lemon cultivation of the southern district was successfully held in the town of pao, in the southern district. The meeting considered and adopted the report of the preparatory group on the preparatory work for the establishment of the technical association for the specialization of lemon cultivation, read out a copy of the agreement of the scientific and technical association of the southern district of chongqing on the establishment of the technical association for the specialization of lemon cultivation of the southern district, adopted the statute of the technical association for the specialization of lemon cultivation of the southern region, elected the first members of the board of directors, jointly awarded the association, and delivered the inaugural address of the newly elected president, setting out its objectives, future development plans and determination。
According to yang, the association was established to promote the healthy development of the lemon industry in the southern region, by enabling agricultural scientists, specialists, production cooperatives and agro-enterprises involved in the research and technology promotion and scientific diffusion of the lemon industry in the region to organize effectively in order to form a joint and large-scale development pattern, thereby enhancing the resilience of the lemon industry to risk, bringing about an organic link between small-scale agriculture and modern industrial development and re-energizing the work of the three farmers。
Mr. Yang stressed that since the establishment of the association, it had been necessary to strengthen its political presence and to continue to work under the leadership of the party, as a bridge between the government of the party and the lemon growers (businesses) and the lemon growers. Services should be strengthened, based on the development of a sector with a specialty of lemons in the southern region, through the integration of resources of the scientific and technological power of agriculture, the deepening of cooperative exchanges, the focus on technological innovations in the management of citrus cultivation, the extension of technical training, and the continuous upgrading of the technology and quality of lemon cultivation. It is necessary to strengthen cohesion, innovate in the form of services, actively seek funding projects, technical support, technical guidance and services, strengthen management, work by statute and promote the institutionalization and development of associations。
The meeting was attended by more than 50 participants from the regional associations, the district farmers ' committees, the gays concerned in the town of pao, as well as companies, cooperatives and growers involved in the lemon industry。
