In the afternoon of 8 september 2024, a joint presentation of the beijing university school of economics and the european higher school of business (escp) advanced business management (edba) project was successfully held in room 101 of the beijing university school of economics, on the theme “butuquian today, learning from central and west china, people with economy and social security, quinquoise”。

In his message, zhang ya gwang, vice-president of the school of economics at beijing university, stated that over the past 100 years, the faculty of economics at beijing university had achieved remarkable achievements and played an indispensable role in the development of china's economic sciences. Over the years, a great deal of talent had been brought to bear on all sectors of society. In the current period of high-quality development, the school of economics also needs to be innovative and adapt to new and changing circumstances and challenges. In the context of the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of sino-french relations, the edba project, implemented by the beijing university school of economics in cooperation with the european higher school of business, with the expertise and resources of its respective disciplines, is an important milestone in cooperation in the field of education and is a new starting point for the development of the north institute of economics。
Zhang yag-gwang's message
Michael haenlein, director of the law faculty of the edba project and professor of marketing at the escp business school, presented the basics of the european institute of higher business in a number of areas, including school history, institutional accreditation, school ranking, project design and academic union. He mentioned that, in response to major changes in today's world, the escp innovation proposed a “lights strategy”, which was based on leadership, innovation, geopolitics, humanitarian, science and technology and sustainability, and was translated into concrete implementation in three areas: transnational partnerships for education to increase global impact; learning and building on global experience through the mobility of international students; and the transfer of relevant expertise based on internationalized coalition institutions。

Guo mei ling, chairman of the long river technologies group for the century, vice-president of the great health industry holdings, inc., and founder of the mei ling public interest foundation in beijing, shared the theme “live learning for entrepreneurs”. She noted that, in the context of the rapid social transformation of digital and intellectual development, entrepreneurs needed more international thinking and a global perspective, understanding the diverse cultural diversity of countries, learning and training in international thinking, and constantly promoting integration between chinese enterprises and the international community。
Guo mei ling gave a keynote address
The vice-president of the school of economics and director of the edba project in china, qin xue qin, began with a presentation at the school of economics at beijing university. Subsequently, professor qin xuei introduced the edba project from the project's features, curriculum development, mentoring and application process. He noted that the edba project had achieved a comprehensive upgrading of emba in terms of positioning, philosophy, vision and content. The project, which is based on a partnership of central european leading schools, will look at real economic issues from a global perspective, combine deep theoretical knowledge with cutting-edge science and technology and apply them to practical issues, and aim at creating business leaders with international influence, leading long-term industrial development and advancing social progress. He stated that the edba project, developed by the beijing university school of economics in collaboration with the european institute of higher business, was the culmination of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of the central law。

Margot drancourt-de lasteyrie, chief executive of the edba project and head of the ecsp senior executive project, presented the legal component of the edba project. She highlighted the development of ideas and teaching systems for the edba european course and gave a brief introduction to the well-known alumni of the escc european institute of higher business. Margot drancourt-de lasteyrie suggested that the edba project was designed to help participants integrate academic knowledge with business practices and to develop insight and leadership for business pursuits at a higher level for entrepreneurs。
