In part of the population, yellow light should be planted in vegetable gardens. In fact, cucumbers can be grown using flower basins, especially short-stamped cucumbers. 1. Producing or buying seedlings
It is better to plant cucumbers from flower basins, indoor seedlings and off-site cultivation. Especially in areas with longer periods of frost, indoor seedlings can significantly reduce the length of cucumber life outside the room and spend more time on flowering results. It is important to note that both indoor and purchased seedlings require pre-plantation. Preferable seedlings are able to adapt more quickly to the outdoor environment, and the chances of survival have increased significantly. 2. Selecting the right flower basin
Although cucumbers choose shallow root crops, flower basins used to plant cucumbers should not be too shallow. It's very simple, and the smaller the flower pot, the smaller the soil. The less soil there is, the less water and less fat. Care work such as water and fertilization is required on a regular basis. A failure to do so will have a greater impact on the growth of cucumbers。
Therefore, purely theoretically, the choice of the flower basin should be as large as possible and as large as possible. Of course, in real life, we have to consider more factors, such as beauty and practicality. The ideal size is 19 litres, or about 5 gallons of flower basins, not less than 10 litres。
3. Appropriate timing for planting
It is also very important to choose the right timing. There are two conditions that need to be met for cucumber seedlings to move out of the house. First, the seedlings themselves grow at least three to five leaves and are above 10 cm. Second, the minimum outdoor temperature is more than 10 degrees. At least not less than 5 degrees, otherwise cucumber seedlings will freeze to death。
When both conditions are met, cucumber seedlings can be planted outside the house. Don't be too early or too late. It's too early for the outdoor environment to survive. If it is too late, the seedlings are larger, and if they are not changed in time, the root causes are prone to problems。
4. Provide sufficient light
The cucumber is a hot crop and an all-day vegetable, so the cucumber can be better grown by providing at least six hours of solar direct light per day. Watch what we're talking about here. It's a direct light. If your vegetable garden is luminous, you can always move the flower pots according to the sun's position to ensure adequate light。
If this doesn't cover six hours of light, or if you find it difficult, you can also use plant growth lamps. Plant growth lamps are typically 2-3 times more frequent than sunlight and are self-controlled as soon as possible。

6. Timely watering

After the planting was completed, the pursuit of fat began in about two to four weeks, when the cucumber seedling was completed。
In the pursuit of fertilisation, care is taken to control the amount and frequency of fertilisation, which is usually followed by liquid fertilisation every 1-2 weeks or by particulate fertilisation every 2-4 weeks. Potassium phosphorus fertilizer should be selected as the main fertilizer in pursuit of fat. For new growers, the fertilizer with relatively close levels of nitrogen phosphorus can also be selected for fatting。
8. Periodic cut
During cucumber growth, if the leaves at the bottom are found to start yellowing and drying up, the leaves should be cut off in time. This not only reduces the waste of nutrients, but also increases the availability of nutrients for flowering and results. Moreover, air flow at the bottom has been accelerated, reducing the incidence of pests and diseases。
