The department of agriculture and rural development of gansu province recently organized the production and distribution of the gansu province farming work manual, based on the 2020 edition of the farming and farming management division of the ministry of agriculture and rural affairs, in conjunction with the practical work of gansu agricultural production, to establish uniform standards for all types of agricultural information, to clarify the content and movement control standards and to improve the efficiency and level of agricultural control in gansu province。
The gansu rural work manual contains chapters on basic conditions, crop profiles, agricultural history, natural disasters in agriculture, the explanation of terms related to farming, policy interpretation, etc., which focus on the various aspects of agricultural production, including the area of crop cultivation, yields, technology models, distribution areas, movement control indicators, and natural disasters and coping strategies in agriculture. The gansu rural work manual fully incorporates the innovative practices and best practices of farming in recent years, while focusing on a combination of theory and practice, providing both systematic methodological guidance and practical operational processes and standards for the general population of farmers and “tri-farmers” workers, and helping to improve the professional capacity and efficiency of farming operations for “tri-farmers”。
The gansu province is located on the crossroads of the three high plateaus of the yellow land, the quechua and the inner mongolia plateau, with complex topography and diverse climate types.
