What variety, how much quantity they want, they have limits, and the deal is not easy to make...”

“the mix between the two varieties is not randomly chosen,” wang hong yong explained: “we are looking in the direction of excellence and newness, looking at the types of vacancies in the market. This requires both an understanding of the characteristics of each species and of the current overall situation in the field of jade.”
The hands-on operation is equally cumbersome. There are different orchid periods, and if two of them are staggered, then they have to keep the pollen until the next spring. The pollen can also be taken only manually, with the petals being removed carefully, the pollen laid on paper falling naturally, then sealed and labelled in bottles, and the plume covered with a piece of paper requires the collection of 50 trees. With only a few days of pollination, it takes another year to wait for the storm to miss or catch the storm, so the season is also the busiest time for wang hong yong。
After artificial pollination, the rest is waiting. “no one can guarantee the success rate of hybridism, sometimes pollination of hundreds of flowers may yield only a dozen seeds, and the possibility of planting them and growing them is only three or four.” wang hong yong said. Even if tamran were to grow up successfully, it would have to be screened through a series of indicators, such as sexuality, stability, which is a time and probability game。
Fortunately, hong yong's wait was not frustrated, and over four years of trying, he developed two brands. “this white flower can rise to more than 20 centimetres, is much larger than the average white jade, and is thicker in petals, and i intend to name it ice cream; and `red feathers' are also a new species, pink and strong, because most of the jade smells are low, which is a breakthrough, and i intend to make a species declaration next year.” wang hong yong opened his phone album and introduced it with joy。
