The book is based on a supplement to the ministry of education's new standard for compulsory labour curriculum (2022 edition), which includes the task of “cooking and nutrition”。

There's a lot to be gained from having children learn to cook. On the one hand, knowledge of food nutrition and a long culture can be understood, while on the other hand, it is easy to learn to cherish food. It can be said that children who cook can take care of themselves wherever they go。

The book is a recipe for children and adults. Because of some of these, even adults don't have to do it。
At the beginning of the book, a chart of the nutritional diet of children aged 6-13 was presented, divided into two stages, one for children aged 6-10 and the other for children aged 10-13. Based on this structure, it is possible to look specifically at the nutritional needs of the child, which can be properly matched when cooking。

Common items such as steam pans, sandpots and pans, which are common in the kitchen, are then presented, and children are taught to be safe in the kitchen and to remove hazards when electricity is used on fire。
This is followed by a presentation of the nine main categories of food products, including breakfast, steaming, broccoli, cuisine, soup, snacks, staples, sweets and traditional foods。

Children basically like to eat eggs. They can learn from cooking eggs. They're simple, short, they're the easiest to learn. Eggs are part of the breakfast class, but they can be eaten at noon and at night。
And then there's soy sauce, banana toast, and so on, and it's easy, and the kids are involved, whether they help and make it themselves, and the kids can feel the pleasure of cooking。

Over time, children can also choose what they like, prepare food, learn a little under adult supervision。

In this book, there is not only cooking skills and nutrition, but also food mix, health knowledge and eating culture。
And all the dishes, simple and practical, can be finished within five steps。

The book is more suitable for reading by parents and for practical use by parents。
