From 15 to 25 september, national science day 2024 was held in various locations. The mental health education and counselling centre of our university students (provinces for the dissemination of social science knowledge, provincial science education bases) conducted a “national science day” mental health literacy campaign in late september。
On the evening of the 20th, the school students' mental health education campaign went into the student community and the centre for civilization practice of the new age, where a number of mental health awareness-raising activities were conducted on the theme “improving mental health quality to help enjoy life”. In order to improve the mental health standards of students attending university, the usual psychological problems of university students and the physical and psychological methods used to regulate them, mental health science is being developed and adapted to university life as soon as possible。
At noon, on 23rd, all teachers of the psychological centre, together with psychiatry volunteers, came to the yuen school canteen for a psychiatry fair. The campaign focused on the topic of mental health and promoted the mental health of teachers and students at our school by distributing leaflets and face-to-face lectures to promote scientific knowledge of mental health topics for passing teachers and students。
In addition, an online psychological counselling service was conducted in the afternoon at the psychological centre, where students' concerns about “how to adapt to university life as soon as possible” “how to manage conflicts in interpersonal relationships” “what is the time management approach” are answered online by a full-time teacher, providing a platform for our students to speak out, reduce negative attitudes in schools and build a good health mentality。
This series of educational activities has not only deepened the knowledge of teachers and students about mental health, but has also taught them how to embrace their emotions and build a sense of sunshine. As a next step, my school psychiatry centre will continue to promote the implementation of psychosocial services and create a positive school psychological atmosphere.
