The provincial and municipal mental health specializations have established targeted psychological centres for children and young people, sleeping medicine centres, depression centres, addiction medicine centres, and enhanced diagnostic interventions on psychological problems such as depression, anxiety and addiction behaviour。
Implementation of safeguards and care for the mental health of students

“we will then accelerate the development of mental health education in schools in the context of the `two reduction' deployment, launch the province-wide mental health education information platform for primary and secondary school students and promote the sharing of resources among schools.” as the next step, our province will also improve the evaluation of mental health education, strengthen the supervision of mental health education, urge schools in all regions to set up teams of excellence, strengthen the training of teachers on a part-time basis, strengthen the establishment of psychological counselling rooms, implement the treatment of teachers in primary and secondary schools, and promote the development of educational teaching, practical activities, counselling services, preventive interventions and platforms to guarantee “five-one” work patterns。
At the same time, the mental health prevention and crisis management mechanisms for students have been improved, and families, schools, government and society have been encouraged to “multi-party collaboration” and the health-care system has been strengthened. In addition, awareness-raising efforts on mental health will be strengthened through the implementation of such thematic activities as the mental health month in primary and secondary schools and world mental health day, in order to create a favourable climate for a society-wide focus on mental health education for students。
