On 29 september, the international forum for the protection of intellectual property in creative design was held on the site of the congress of world design. As the only international forum related to intellectual property during the congress, the forum focused on the close link between creative design and intellectual property rights, hosted by shanghai patent and trademarks ltd., in collaboration with shanghai specialized intellectual property services ltd. Currently, in shanghai, the establishment of science, technology and innovation centres is being promoted along the main lines of “enhanced science, technology and innovation policy and enhanced urban core competitiveness”, while creative design is playing an irreplaceable role in optimizing the allocation of science, technology and innovation resources and industrial structure, which is important for promoting innovation and improving the quality and effectiveness of development. At the same time, intellectual property-related work will be a key safeguard for shanghai to expand its integration into global innovation networks and to construct a harmonious co-existence of creative design ecology。
