Our school responded positively to the party's central call to follow up on the spirit of documents such as the ministry of education's circular on action for energy saving and reducing emissions in schools, in keeping with the national policy on energy saving and reducing emissions, building on a “low-carbon economy and energy-saving emission reduction” platform, one of the 10 university students' innovative educational platforms, to motivate young students to innovate and develop innovative talent. The theme of the competition is closely linked to the physical production (including models), software, design and social practice studies, which reflect new ideas, principles, methods and technologies。
Competition requirements
1. Target audience: undergraduate, master's and doctoral students (excluding in-service graduate studies) with full-time non-formal education at my school. The contestants must compete in the form of a team of teams, which compete on the basis of a group of graduate students and a group of undergraduate students. The team of postgraduate students will be classified as a group of graduate students, not exceeding seven persons per group, with one or three instructors; if three instructors are hired, one of them must be an enterprise technician or a cross-cutting teacher. Each contestant is allowed to participate in no more than three teams, of which no more than one team in its capacity as a leader, and the school encourages the cross-section of students。
2. Competition training: experts from the steering committee for the teaching of energy dynamics at the higher school of the ministry of education, and members of the national competition for energy conservation and reduction of emissions for university students, are invited to participate in the campaign. The competition produces excellent works, and the schools will organize specialists to refine and guide the scientific, practical, innovative and economic criteria of the work。
3. Declaration of works: the declared works must be the work to be completed in the year of the competition and there is no possibility of multiple input. Students must complete the competition within a specified time frame, hand over their entries on time and give up automatically if they fail to do so on time. The award-winning works in the energy-saving and emission-reducing provinces will not, in principle, be allowed to re-enter the school competition without major improvements。
4. Evaluation of works: the committee of experts on school organizing evaluates the work, selects the outstanding work of the 17th (2026) university of shandong university's social practice and science and technology competition for energy-reducing reduction, and selects the best work for the national competition for energy-reducing reduction。
V. Programme and organization of the competition
1. Registration of competitions: each contestant completes the registration of a questionnaire by 31 january 2026 and is informed in the official qqq group of the contests after submitting the link。
2. Declaration of works: each team is requested to submit an electronic declaration of entries (annex 1), a declaration (annex 2 and 3) and an explanatory/research report (annex 4 and 5) to the registration file by 14 march 2026, together with other project supporting materials. Specific document links are submitted, which are then communicated within the official group of the contests, requesting the teams to keep an eye on the group. Please note that a declaration involves a signature, stamp item, and should be considered invalid unless it is uploaded electronically by means of a paper-based signature and a scanned stamp。
3. Evaluation of works: the committee of experts will conduct a first-instance screening of works in mid-march 2026, and the finals are tentatively scheduled to take place on 29 march 2026 at the engineering training centre of the heung long hill school district of shandong university, in the form of a road show show + ppt defence, in which teams are required to defend themselves and prepare a three-minute project introduction video (within 200mb) to encourage participation in the competition to produce physical models and to present them at the road show and at the scene。
4. Publication of works: a list of award-winning works is published in schools for a three-day period。
5. Special reminder that due to the adjustment of the time of the national competition for energy-efficient emission reductions, the schedule of the current school competition is well advanced than in previous years. Please make reasonable arrangements。
