In order to fully implement the national “climate-climate-climate-climate-climate” strategy, to deepen the promotion of green low-carbon development and to stimulate innovation and practice among young university students, the third shanghai-based university competition on energy-saving social practices and science and technology was launched in 2026. The objective of this competition is to deepen the theme of “energy-efficient emission reduction, green low-carbon” by directing students to engage in scientific and technological exploration and social practices, focusing on the critical needs of the country's energy and environment, building innovative capacities, a spirit of partnership and social responsibility, and contributing youthful wisdom to the development of new quality productivity and building ecological civilization. The competition, which was hosted by shanghai polytechnic university, is hereby notified as follows:
I. Topics of the competition
Energy-efficient emission reductions, green low carbon。
Ii. Context of the competition
The theme of the competition is closely linked to the physical production (including models), software, design and social practice studies, which reflect new ideas, principles, methods and technologies。
Iii. Competition rules
1 target audience: all full-time non-adult education specialists, undergraduates, masters and doctoral students in shanghai (excluding in-service postgraduates). The contestants must compete in group form (the current contestants are divided into postgraduate and undergraduate groups, which will be classified into postgraduate groups as long as there is a graduate) and not more than seven persons per team, each employing no more than three mentors, such as three mentors, one of whom must be an enterprise technician or cross-cutting teacher。

3. Participating institutions: the higher colleges of the above-mentioned cities and cities are participating in the competition, with a limit of 25 works per college (mixed teams may be used in the first place). When submitting a declaration of works, all works are ranked for evaluation。
4. Declaration of works: 1) the entries must be completed during the year. The team must complete the work and submit it on time, as required, within a specified time frame. Templates such as declarations, instructions, etc. Are attached. Only electronic versions are required for the opening competition。
5. Evaluation of works: the school will hire experts from the industry to evaluate the work, primarily in terms of its scientific, innovative, practical and economic nature. On the basis of the results of the review, the list of awards for the school competition was established and the top 25 works were selected to participate in the current shanghai city competition on social practices and science and technology for energy conservation and reduction。
6. Commitment in good faith: all members of the participating organizations and instructors are required to provide id numbers, and once academic misconduct has been detected and verified, the students concerned are permanently banned from the competition, and the teacher concerned is banned for two years; a warning is given to the school concerned; if the school is again violated, it is banned for two years。

2. First instance in the school: selection of works is scheduled to take place by 18 march 2026, and 25 outstanding works are selected for presentation。
3. Sending the project to the shanghai city competition: the uploading of the web site and account number will be made available to the project's contact person, with only electronic copies of the material required to request the participating universities to submit the competition's work declaration online by 2400 hours on 8 april 2026 (the outdated system will be automatically closed and those who did not submit it on time will be considered to have given up automatically)。
Special reminders: in the declaration, the students participating in the contest, the instructors and their rankings are based on the final version of the deadline for submission of the web system, which will be used as the basis for ranking on the award certificates, which may not be changed at will, and the names of the contestants are not misspelled. 4. First reading and online review of the competitions in shanghai: the initial review and web review were scheduled for 10 april to 23 april 2026. Experts from the organizing committee organized an online initial review of the works and selected the third prize and finals。
5. Date of publication of the finals of the shanghai round: 24 april 2026, for three days. Each of the finals in the shanghai market is subject to a fee of $1,200 per item。
