On 27 january 2026, the new spring festival will be held at the sichuan provincial school for disaster prevention and mitigation, in conjunction with the seismic disaster prevention and mitigation section of chengdu, the street office of the red house in the wuchou district, to launch a campaign on the theme “happy new year - new spring grassroots emergency security” in the community of the great wall of the red house, promoting the sinking of the emergency response section to the ground and serving the population。
At 10 a. M., the event began with an intensely encouraging performance, during which a warm-up exercise quickly lit the scene. The fast-tracked “thirty-six-six-six” bamboo book, in the form of the lang-lang mouth, popularizes home safety and wins a live round of applause; the “with a prize question and answer session” allows residents to consolidate their common sense of emergency response in their response interactions, with a small peak in activity。
A number of interactive projects in the decentralized areas have attracted a high level of participation on the ground, with the on-site teaching of “heimrick first aid” and “treading” techniques by lecturers at the sichuan provincial school for disaster prevention and reduction, and the careful dismantling of each operational point; the focus on practical skills at the chengdu earthquake mitigation education base, which focuses on training people in “heart lung resuscitation”, and the dissemination of information on fire safety and earthquake escapes; the “emergency response questions questions quiz” game, which combines science and fun with music and is very popular with young people and parents; and the live display of fire equipment by the mini-fire station staff at the street of the red house, which provides a visual insight into the functioning and use of fire equipment。
At the site of the event, a television-based and well-developed general security section display was set up, covering common knowledge of disaster response, such as fog, fires, earthquakes, mudslides, etc.; the promotional vehicle cycle was used to broadcast the general video of the section, staff distributed the materials, creative products and small gifts simultaneously to the population; and a full spectrum of science and technology scenes was created to “see, understand, learn and walk”。
The initiative was based on the “fronts + mobile campaign” model, which combines resources from a wide range of provincial, municipal, district, street, community and social organizations. It brought together some 300 people and distributed 1,200 copies of the materials and nearly 500 copies of the products. The campaign has been effective in raising awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation among the community and in providing a solid foundation for the creation of a “safe, one-size-fits-all” festivities and community safety lines during the spring festival。
