Discussion session: new standards for hospital infections
The conference was based on an in-depth reading of the latest standards and norms for hospital infection management, focusing on the risk of infection and the prevention and control response to key points such as disinfection supplies, oral consultations, medical waste and sewage treatment. While listening to expert lectures, participants shared experiences of sensory practices and explored new challenges and ideas for institutional work。

A well-regarded “learning from a typical case of error” competition encourages medical personnel to face the gaps and risks of bedwork. The competition brought together 17 high-quality cases from nine health-care institutions into the finals. On 16 october 2025, the opening ceremony of the competition took place in person with the director of the senxi provincial centre for psychiatry, li binping; the chief of the medical and political section of the municipal health and safety commission, yi yi; the vice-president of the second people's hospital of changji city, zhu yun fei; and all the members of the infection control centre of the changji city hospital, chaired by li weihua, the director of the centre for psychiatry and control of the changji city court。
It was emphasized in the message that the competition was dedicated to building a system-proof, open-air communication platform and that it was hoped that the contesters would be able to promote learning and change in order to fully enhance clinical practices at the hospital。
