In order to raise the awareness and capacity of university students to use financial services properly, and to promote financial literacy and prevent financial fraud, from 9 september to 10 september 2017, the bank of the people's living entered the university and the college of the people's republic of china during its new entrance to the university, where it carried out a course on “first class” financial literacy for new students。
The campaign is aimed at raising awareness among school students of basic financial knowledge, such as bank cards, financial management, fast payments and credit cards, and of the risks associated with school loans, to protect students from illegal or irregular financial activities, to safeguard their personal financial information, to help them properly identify regular banking establishments, personnel and operations and to defend their rights and interests in accordance with the law。
Through the distribution of leaflets and self-generated cases on the same day, students are taught how to assess their own risk tolerance and the risk characteristics of financial products, as well as the characteristics of illegal financial activities, so that they can develop the right idea of financial management, self-aware and resist illegal financial activities。
This campaign has not only enabled students to learn more about finance, but has also been a process of financial literacy learning and consolidation for those working as lecturers. This school event on financial literacy has produced over 700 brochures, over 400 brochures and over 100 financial literacy consultations. At the same time, the financial literacy of university students has been improved, as has the development of a sound banking image in higher education institutions. The bank's branches will continue to implement the requirements of the relevant regulatory bodies in a serious manner, and will carry out an intensive awareness-raising campaign on financial matters in order to fulfil their duties in the public interest。
