On the morning of 20 november, in an effort to increase public awareness of safe medicine and to raise the level of safe medicine, the zhebei communist party news (zhang libei) launched a campaign entitled “security medicine, good governance of good law” at the xinjiang markets house of culture square. The meeting was attended by the deputy mayor of xinjiang and addressed by more than 150 participants, including members of the leadership group of the municipal market control authority, law enforcement officials of the relevant departments and sub-offices, representatives of drug production, operation and use enterprises, media workers and representatives of citizens。

The deputy mayor, cow jun bo, made an important statement in which he noted that the issue of drug security was a major human problem, directly related to the health and safety of the population, and that it was important to raise awareness of the importance of safe drug use among the general public through the promotion of safe drug months. The newly amended medicines management act, the vaccines management act, will be implemented on 1 december 2019. It is necessary to create a trend in the use of teaching methods throughout society and to become a faithful admirer of the law. Enterprises are self-sufficient in their primary responsibilities and are self-observant of the law. Regulatory authorities are required to enforce the law strictly and to act as firm defenders of the law。

At the event, statements were made by representatives of participating enterprises, and six point units for the recovery of expired medicines were awarded the “home's obsolete untrusted drugs' targeted repository shop”. On the day of the event, more than 400 posters were distributed, more than 4,000 leaflets were distributed, more than 300 knowledge booklets, more than 500 science books, more than 50 popular consultations, more than 20 copies of expired medicines were recovered and 6 cases of adverse reactions were collected。

During the campaign, the bureau will undertake various forms of advocacy to ensure its effectiveness. The first is to actively involve city-wide pharmaceutical enterprises, hospitals and the general public in the campaign. The second is to organize relevant media to focus on key activities.
