The white paper shows that as china's innovation capacity continues to grow, capital markets flourish and intellectual property systems and capacities continue to improve, china's work on intellectual property financial services has evolved and continued. Intellectual property insurance, as an important component of our intellectual property finance, provides an effective way to address corporate intellectual property risks and plays an important role in serving the intellectual property protection needs of innovation and market subjects, in preventing and sharing the risks associated with the operation of intellectual property rights, and in promoting the development of systems for the operation of intellectual property services。
The white paper states that china's intellectual property insurance covers almost all types of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, geographical indications, integrated circuit chart designs, new varieties of plants and commercial secrets, and covers all aspects of intellectual property creation, protection and application. By the end of 2022, there were more than 22 provinces and 99 municipalities operating intellectual property insurance, providing more than rmb 110 billion in risk insurance for over 46,000 patents, trademarks, geographical indications and the design of integrated circuit maps for more than 28,000 enterprises。
The white paper refers to the dual role played by intellectual property insurance in the marketing and development of intellectual property rights (iprs) in expanding access to finance and providing risk security, which have effectively contributed to the upgrading of enterprise innovation capabilities. In the course of adapting to the new stage of development and shaping the new development landscape, the progressive implementation of innovative-driven development strategies, the building of china's identity and the creation of a world-class intellectual property power have continued. New demands have been made to improve the marketability of our intellectual property rights, to protect the legitimate interests of enterprises at a higher level, to promote fair competition and to ensure the realization of the value of intellectual property rights。
The white paper recommends continuous improvement of working mechanisms, innovation in working methods, optimization of risk control and enrichment of insurance products and services. There is a need to strengthen synergies among the various actors and to invest in an inclusive intellectual property insurance (ipr) full-process service. The value assessment of intellectual property needs to be explored in depth on a continuous basis, improving the valuation methods and risk controls of intellectual property. Capacity-building of professional teams and institutions involved in intellectual property insurance should be strengthened, and research and analysis of priority needs and challenges should be developed in order to promote a deeper integration of intellectual property and finance. ♪ i'll be back ♪
