Electro-basics is a practical skill in modern everyday life and a difficult focus for children and adolescents in primary and lower secondary education on the path to learning the natural sciences. The basic concepts and common sense of electrology are more abstract and difficult to understand for children and adolescents。
With the strong support of the commercial street community committee, the business street community joined together as a social work service centre for the city's right-hand neighbourhood to carry out a series of scientific activities entitled “technology and exploration of space”. The basics of electronics and electrical appliances are introduced to children and young people in the community in an interesting way, combining a lively demonstration of experiments to enable children to learn at the same time with a strong interest in electrical sciences and natural sciences and to improve scientific literacy。
On the morning of 6 august, the first lecture on the theme of electronics took place in a child-friendly space in a commercial street community. Nearly 20 primary and secondary school students from the community attended the event。
As part of the campaign, teachers began by disseminating basic knowledge of electrical sciences to the participating children and adolescents, such as positive and negative charge and current generation, and by making these concepts more visible through interesting experiments。
The teacher then led you to an experiment entitled “behind the fire line”, where children and young people experienced the principles of batteries and circuits. In the course of the experiment, children and young people became enthusiastic and worked on their own experiments. Some children in the production process were initially unable to light light light bulbs, screen the problems under the leadership of their teachers, and eventually light small lights, which were sufficiently tested to detect problems, think about them and solve them。
The event enriched the summer life of the children, developed their capacity to innovate, and inspired the children to “love science, learn science, use science” so that they could think better, so that the knowledge they had learned was no longer a “paper talker”。
