What is intellectual property
Intellectual property rights are the legal exclusive rights of the right-holders to mark the results and reputations of their intellectual work。
Intellectual property is essentially an intangible property right, the object of which is an intellectual product or an intellectual product, an intangible asset or a physicalless spiritual asset, and the labour created by creative intellectual labour。

What are the main features of intellectual property rights
(1) exclusive. Also referred to as monopolistic (exclusive or exclusive). The owner of an intellectual property right has the right to possession, use, proceeds and disposition of the object of his or her rights。
(2) geographicality. The geographical nature of intellectual property rights is a spatial limitation of rights. Intellectual property rights granted by any state or area are protected only within that state or region and do not have legal effect in other states or regions. If the owner of an intellectual property right wishes to have exclusive rights in another country or region, a separate application shall be made in accordance with the laws of other countries。
(3) timeliness. The legal protection of intellectual property rights is limited by time, in addition to space (i. E. Geographical). Intellectual property rights have a statutory period of protection, which automatically terminates once they have expired。

What are the ways in which rights can be defended when intellectual property rights are violated
