The more appropriate density of eggplants is: 70 cm in row and 30-40 cm in stock。
The method of planting is to open a ditch within the length of the line, to pour water into the ditch, and to keep the selected seedlings in the ditch at a small distance, until the water is fully leaked, before filling the soil by the ditch. The cultivation of eggplants is mostly combined with weeding. The early medium tillage is reasonably deep, about 5-6 cm; the later medium tiller is shallower, 3 cm deep, and does not hurt the root as much as possible. Chinese farming can prevent soil slabs and weeds from growing, and can increase the air intake of the soil for root growth. When the seedling grows to 30 cm, it is combined with the cultivated soil, i. E., the earth in the ditch is planted around the roots. In this way, it protects the surface roots and enhances the wind resistance of plants。
As the eggplant grows, the side branch starts to grow. When the first flower emerges, leave only one side of the branch under it and wipe away the rest of the branch, which is no longer full. If the upper branch is too dense, some weaker branches can also be properly cut so that the plant is better ventilated。
Premature varieties can be harvested 40-50 days after planting, while medium- and late-stage varieties take longer. The harvest is generally available when the fruit expands and the rate is significantly slowed。
