As part of the campaign, the plp has distributed to the passing population, in highly populated agricultural markets, communities, businesses, etc., legal and regulatory brochures such as the food safety act and the consumer rights and protection act, which, in conjunction with the typical case of food safety, focus on protection against food safety risks and protection against food safety problems. In addition, the pfp receives legal advice from the public on the spot, patiently answering questions from the public about food consumption rights, identification of counterfeit products, etc. In the agricultural market and in the food business, the plp directs the operators to operate in good faith and in accordance with the law, to secure the entry and exit of goods and to work together to secure the “food safety” wall and to protect the “security on the tip of the tongue” of the people. More than 100 information materials were distributed and more than 10 public consultations were held。
Through this awareness-raising campaign, food safety laws and regulations and scientific knowledge have been disseminated to the general public. This has further strengthened the sense of responsibility and integrity of food producers, increased consumer awareness of food safety and the ability to defend them, and created a favourable social climate of “food safety for all and food security for all”. As a next step, the yunan district people's court will explore additional and more effective forms of legal literacy, erecting a judicial protection barrier for food safety and providing stronger judicial services and guarantees to protect the people's “security on the tip of the tongue” and promote the high-quality economic and social development of the district。
