Methodology/step
Period of cultivation。
In general, the best time to grow lilies is early spring, the season with the highest gestation rates. It is best to plant it in the autumn between october and november, and if no cryogenic treatment takes place, it will bloom in about 90 to 100 days。
Select the kind of ball。
For lilies, the choice of seed balls is important. If you choose to be cold-resistant, it is preferable to buy it on a physical store or network. Seed balls are relatively cheap. Do not choose multiple varieties. The variety is less decorative and the value of small flowers is lower than that of other species。
Sculpting balls。
Prior to the planting of the lily ball, a half-day leaching in a polybacterial elixir solution can be expected. Take it out and dry it. It would be preferable not to shine the sun before broadcasting, in a cool environment。
Soil selection。
In order to cultivate lily ball, it requires very rough soil. At this point, it is possible to make the graft, pearl rock and bricks at the 3:5 ratio. Soils have a high nutrient drainage capacity, which reduces the generation of watershed pits. Corrupt soil, peat soil and pearl rock are also formulated at 2:5:1。
Squiring balls。
Put the prepared soil in the flower basin, set it at one half of its height, and then put the ball in the flower basin, so that it reaches three centimetres thick. The number of balls in one of the flower basins is about three, and the ball is so well arranged after the lilies。
Water the seedlings。
Upon completion of the above steps, the soil must be permeated into an air-shielded environment. In order to increase the probabilities of germination, the temperature at about 18°c needs to be controlled. When the lilies are rooted, they should be moved to a light position for maintenance. During plant growth, the basin cannot accumulate water。
Split ball breeding。
Splitball breeding is a simple way of breeding lilies. A lot of new scales are grown in lilies under the ground and near the surface. Seed balls are placed in wet sand beds for seedling treatment and water is wet daily, which is about three to four weeks later white. After planting, one or three new tubers were grown on the balls for transplantation。
