This has solved the problem of agricultural disconnection and segregation, giving root to the strategy of “receiving food from land and technology” and protecting food production。
Since the fourteenth five-year plan, the green crop cycle agriculture pilot has been advancing steadily in 24 provinces (districts, municipalities), covering 337 counties (municipalities, districts, farms) and gradually breaking down long-standing challenges that constrain agricultural development, such as “where to defecate livestock and poultry” and “how to raise the quality of arable land” and “how to reduce fertilizer use”。
To date, more than 5,200 socialization services have been developed throughout the country, bringing together nearly 30,000 professionals, cumulatively treating 8,755,000 tons of solid and 140 million cubic metres of liquid manure, reducing the use of fertilizers by 560,000 tons, significantly increasing the overall utilization of animal and poultry manure, and effectively improving the organic content of soil in a number of fields, leading to a shift from a “polluting source” to a “nutrition source”。
In national practice, the pilot has always been driven by science and technology, with institutional safeguards as a breakthrough. More than 60 light and light technology models, such as “defeating manure + mechanically deep application” “gap + water fertilization integration”, have been integrated into the field by organizing cross-cutting teams of specialists at all levels of the agricultural and rural sector, and the joint agro-machine sector has introduced nine categories of 60 manure-backing main-power machines, making complex field-resilient techniques “for farmers to use and use”; the twin-wheel-drive mechanism “government-led + market operations” is also being explored to promote stable cooperative chains between farms, service owners and growers。

Local innovations have led to the establishment of triangular cooperation mechanisms for “farms + service owners + growers”, operational models for “government-led + market operations + social participation”, green circulation systems for the “culture + agricultural services” industry-wide chain, which are demonstrated by practical initiatives。
At the start of the “155,” the national centre for agricultural technology extension will continue to strengthen its science and technology support, institutional innovation and full-scale regulation, allowing the green cycle model to be replicated in more regions. From technological development to the transformation of results, from pilot demonstration to full coverage, the green breeding cycle will further entrench food security and make green a stark basis for high-quality agricultural development。
