Today (14 june) is the 21st world blood donner day. The huangura district health board, the huangura district red cross, and the huangura district health management centre (hongura district blood management centre) jointly set up mobile blood donation sites at the preparatory gardens to “concentrate the 20th anniversary of world blood donners' day: thank you, blood donner!” for a series of pro bono blood donation campaigns. Staff members and volunteers took to the streets and used their enthusiastic propaganda to appeal to citizens to lift up their sleeves, join in giving blood free of charge, and convey a spirit of volunteerism that is “relationship, love, mutual assistance, progress”。

A special volunteer was particularly visible at the scene. He is zhang kim-soo, the winner of the national blood donation award of 2022. Since the first blood donation in 2008, zhang kim has contributed a cumulative sum of 2,000 ml of all blood and 271 units of single blood plated treatment. The needle marks on his arm, which were marked by blood donations, became the imprint of his pride as a citizen of society. Zhang kim-soo not only actively donated blood himself, but also used his leisure time as a volunteer to encourage more people to join the ranks of unpaid blood donors with his own experience。

In the interview, zhang kim-suk shared his blood donation and his heart: “i began to contact the blood donation from the blood truck at beijing west station, and later learned that more people in need could be reached by donating blood panels and stem cells. I want more people to join the blood stem cell bank and bring more hope to those with leukemia.”

In addition to “old friends” like zhang kim-soo, there are many new blood donors on the scene. One of them is the health worker, wu yi. As a new person who had just begun working in the health system this year, she wished to commemorate that special day by giving blood and to promote the importance of blood. She said, “i know the importance of blood for clinical purposes, so i want to do my part on this special day. Blood donation does not hurt the body and can help more people.”

The event was not only a tribute and tribute to the blood donors, but an appeal to society as a whole. Through its activities, it is hoped that a high-quality blood safety and security system will be established and that more members of the public will be encouraged to join the ranks of free blood donors. At the same time, it is hoped that the youth community will play an active and dynamic role and contribute to saving more lives and protecting more families。
A poem that expresses the highest respect for every blood donor and volunteer
It's a hot blood business to save lives and save lives。
It is true that there is no love and no selfless dedication。
