College student test, don't spend your time on a certificate that looks useful. Let's go

From the beginning of the school year, the most popular thing on the university campus is either the recruitment of new members of the community or the admission of candidates. I've been telling you over and over again in the video, what the kids are reporting and what you're reporting. As a result, four years later, a drawer has been saved with certificates that are really useful in finding work, but few。
What is most regrettable about this is not the test itself, but the fact that many people are using the word “work” in the wrong direction. The key to the certificate is whether it has anything to do with your profession, position, career course. Disconnected from this relationship, the more popular registration campaigns end up only adding a sunk cost to itself。
Let me start with a very realistic question. Many of the certificates on the market, whose names sound like a good name, are in fact just certificates of completion issued by training institutions and do not fall within the professional qualifications of the united state organization, nor are there any hard threshold. The agency prefers to package it as an “employment plus subdivision” and even suggests that it can later be paid more for part-time work and earn money. But when it comes to finding a job, business doesn't necessarily recognize it, nor does hr。
It is also common for students to pass the test but to run in the opposite direction. Engineering students go to school to study, arts students go to submit engineering certificates, and some even put in their résumés a bunch of seemingly “decent” certificates. On the surface, it's hard, it's really scattered. The university has been limited in four years. Specialized courses, internships, competitions, projects, dissertations take time. You cut your energy too hard, and it's usually the end of nowhere。
As a matter of fact, many people do not lack certificates, they lack judgement. There's always one more test and one more way to go. But what really determines whether you're competitive is not the number of certificates, but whether you're building up in one direction. A job values matching, not collection. Ten irrelevant certificates are often less powerful than two hard certificates。
What really deserves serious consideration by university students is high-profile, well-applied and generally recognized certificates. In today's employment environment, several types of certificates remain stable。
The first category consists of four or six levels of university english. Its specificity is evident in the fact that it is available during a university and that it is not available after graduation. For many schools and many jobs, levels iv and vi are basic thresholds. English is one of the screening requirements for state enterprises, enterprises, foreign companies and even some internet posts. In particular, level vi, with a higher score, tends to have a better pass rate。
Of course, level 4-6 is not almighty. It simply means that you have basic english skills, which does not mean that you can do translation, foreign trade or international business. But its value is that it is universal and can be used in almost all professions. It would be more cost-effective to settle the first and second year of the year without delay until graduation。
The second category is teacher qualifications. Many people understand it incompletely, believing that being certified is tantamount to being a teacher. In fact, education is only one of the conditions for entering the education sector, but it is practical. For teachers, it is mandatory; for students who want to leave themselves behind, it is also a good bottom-up option。
There is now greater job uncertainty and the attraction of stabilizing jobs comes naturally. This is the advantage of teachers ' qualifications, the application of which is clearer, and subsequent action is easier if you want to follow the direction of teachers, training, after-school services, studies, etc. But if you're not going to touch the education industry at all, it'll be of limited practical help。
The third category is computer level two, especially the office orientation. The certificate is often debated online, but the arguments depend on the crowd. For those in the computer profession, it is not much of a subdivision, but it is useful for a large number of humanities, administrative and general polytechnic students. Because of many office posts, it's really excel, word, ppt。
A large number of civil servants, civil servants, state employees, and integrated staff require office software capacity. Computer level two can force you at least to learn these tools systematically, so you don't have to be too busy with forms, layouts, reporting material. Instead of touching on some of the less practical subjects, you might as well be good at working on office。
The fourth category is primary accounting. For students in the fields of accounting, finance, business management and economics, the certificate is still very strong. With the elimination of the accounting qualification, primary accounting is largely a common financial entry document. “priority of primary accounting” is written in many enterprises when they hire cashiers, accounting assistants, and finance experts。
The advantage is that the threshold is not high enough for school students to take the test. Even if you don't get into a purely financial position, you know a little tax logic, and it helps in the business, the administration, the market. Just to be clear, primary accounting is the starting point, not the end. Going to higher levels also depends on continuous learning and more systematic professional competence。
The fifth category is driver's license. A lot of college students didn't take it seriously at first, thinking it wasn't a professional certificate. It was only after finding work, internships and admissions that it was a long-term skill to drive. In particular, a number of state enterprises, business units, integrated management posts and field positions have almost hidden driving licences。
The university stage is relatively flexible, and the cost of learning cars is usually much lower than after work. It's not that easy to get to work, to work overtime, to travel, to meet a lot of people, and to have time to train. It doesn't necessarily determine whether you can land, but it affects your suitability for certain positions。
The sixth category is the legal profession certificate. The weight of this certificate is certainly different from the preceding categories. It is an important access card for the legal profession, which cannot be bypassed by lawyers, judges, prosecutors, notaries, etc. This is a central goal for law students; it is also critical for those who want to pursue the direction of law, compliance, discipline and public service law。
The greatest features of such certificates are high thresholds, high difficulty and high accreditation. It is not a big deal, but when it is, the career options will be significantly broader. This is an important point of reference for many companies, listed companies, and large public enterprises in recruiting law. It's just better suited to someone with a clear direction than to consider it an option of “one more with one hand”。
The problem is on the other side. A lot of people are wasting their energy on seemingly popular, practical and unhard certificates, such as association certificates with unknown routes, fancy training cards, thousands of fast-finished courses, and projects called “pay money to get to the bottom of it.” such propaganda sounds tempting and is actually very risky. In most cases, money is spent, time is spent, and it is difficult to translate into real career gains。
A simple way to judge whether a certificate is a uniform national examination or whether it is directly related to the target job is in the official catalogue. As long as one of these three points is unclear, do not rush to sign up. The worst fear among university students is not the lack of proof, but the limited time spent on ineffective efforts。
And more importantly, don't fantasize that the certificate will fill all the boards. Certificates on the curriculum vitae are, of course, plus points, but they are no substitute for professional achievement, no substitute for internships and no substitute for the ability to actually do things. Hr looks at the curriculum vitae and first depends on whether you are a suitable candidate for this post and then on whether you have an additional item. Once the order is reversed, it will be easy to get back to work。
So it's better to go back to the “first lead, later aid” approach during the university. Arts students, starting with four-six, computer-two and teaching skills, are better equipped; administrative students, with four-six, primary accounting and office capacity, are better placed; scientific and technical students, more importantly professional competitions, practical training in projects, and their professional skills are less expensive; and teacher-training students, with their skills in mandarin, teaching and english, are better structured。
It's not slow, it's messy. There are five or six certificates a year, which appear to be too busy, and there is practically no real and future occupation. Others look less “rolls”, but they've been doing the right accumulation, and it's more stable when it comes to autumn moves, exams, internship interviews. The difference is not who works harder, but who counts better。
Four years of university is valuable, so don't make it an endless collection of certificates. The certificate is essentially a tool to open some doors for you, but not to walk for you. What really determines how far you can go is your professional background, your practical experience and your ability to continue learning. Putting these foundations in place is more like a long-term return than a pile of blind certificates。
