In conjunction with the provincial intellectual property protection centre, the wine spring customs office and the municipal market supervision office, it has reached out to key enterprises such as our city's taihu farming, new bow farming, sealong industrial textiles company, and one-on-one, face-to-face advocacy to read the core elements of foreign intellectual property policy regulations, patent layout, overseas defence, risk control, etc., in order to answer questions on the ground, to help enterprises to address their acute intellectual property-related concerns, to strengthen their capacity to protect intellectual property, to expand their markets abroad for enterprises to “go out” and to promote the integration of domestic and foreign trade。

Focused advocacy to create a strong social climate
In response to the unified arrangements on the market, the central square has been the focus of information campaigns on intellectual property rights, the establishment of an advisory desk on the ground, the distribution of more than 600 copies of information materials such as the rapid service for the defence of intellectual property rights, the intellectual property protection information note to passers-by, and the provision of advice to the public on the registration of trademarks, the protection of brand names, the reporting of violations, etc., to further raise the awareness and capacity of the public at large and of market owners in the area of commercial and commercial circulation to protect intellectual property rights and create a strong climate of respect for intellectual property rights and the promotion of theoretical innovation。

Thematic training to help enterprises defend their rights efficiently
In order to help foreign economic and trade enterprises effectively prevent the potential risks of intellectual property at export and import chains, more than 40 foreign and trade enterprises throughout the city have been organized to participate in online and offline training courses on customs intellectual property documentation, with a view to fully learning about the application process for customs protection of intellectual property, the materials required, the care required, and how to use the filing system to effectively defend rights at import and export chains. The participating enterprises indicated that the content of the training was relevant and practical and that it was important to guide them in effectively avoiding tort disputes and safeguarding their interests abroad。
As a next step, the municipal business bureau will fully perform its sectoral functions, strengthen its synergies, and sustain its efforts to promote and safeguard intellectual property policy. It will guide the various market players throughout the city to strengthen the level of intellectual property creation, application, protection and management, improve their capacity to mitigate the risks of foreign intellectual property rights, optimize the innovation and business environment in the business sector, and help enterprises to “go out to sea” and accelerate the opening of emerging overseas markets。
