In order to enable our teachers and students to make full use of the resources provided by the cnki (china knowledge network) database in their work and learning. On the afternoon of 24 november, the library organized a training session on the use of the china network of knowledge networks database on the theme “finally using the china network to improve the efficiency of scientific research”, which invited a speaker from the training manager of the network。
The lecture detailed the common functions of cnki in four areas: core resources of cnki; efficient use of cnki; accurate and comprehensive access to a wide range of academic resources using the cnki platform; documentation management using the research platform; and writing and contributing papers; and the use of the china platform for economic and social data research. The first page of cnki is divided into modules such as database retrieval, industry knowledge platforms, research learning platforms and software products. Common search methods include one-box search, results retrieval, advanced retrieval, author text retrieval, sentence retrieval, professional search and publication retrieval; academic hotspots can be tracked through the index and visualization analysis provided by cnki to capture the intrinsic links between selected literature; and the mobile end provides individualized customization, instant delivery, reader focus tracking, smart recommendations, full text inter-platforming。
China's know net is currently the largest and most valuable chinese-language information site in the world, and has wide visibility at national universities. As a result of the lecture, students learned about the academic resources of the network, were familiar with the various search functions of the network, and were aware of the various analytical and screening functions of the network platform, which will be used in the future to assist in learning and research。
