At the event, young volunteers distributed information brochures and readings on the safety of medicines to villagers, detailing information about safe medicines, ordering daily diets and medications to take care of them; conducting free blood pressure measurements for villagers and detailed questions about their physical condition, medical history and use of medicines; developing standardized treatment advice or follow-up screening programmes for villagers who found blood pressure abnormalities or other health problems during examinations; and patiently answering various health questions。
The event, which served more than 100 villagers and distributed more than 500 copies of a comprehensive book of safe medicine, hot water bags and medical knee protection, not only allowed villagers to benefit from the services of provincial medical experts at home, but also identified some of the potential health risks in time for more effective dissemination of scientific health concepts and safety medicines, which were warmly welcomed and unanimously received by the local population。
The event was one of the concrete initiatives to help build healthy villages and deepen the practical activities of “i do business for the masses”.
