The sichuan provincial drug authority has been innovative in creating a new “line plus line” double-wheel-drive model for science, organizing a series of brandings of “national safe medicine” throughout the province for many years, mobilizing more than 800 drug retail enterprises, more than 40,000 retail outlets and 80,000 practitioners across the province to form a branch of the pipehead unit to bring the knowledge of safe medicine to institutions, communities, schools and villages. Over the past eight years, more than 420,000 brochures have been distributed, serving more than 1. 7 million people。
The new media platform became the new high ground for the dissemination of science. The " pharmacists coming " section, developed jointly with the provincial media, has produced 70 editions, reaching 93 million audiences, as a family-known drug guide. More than 1,400 videos have been published in the general accounts of pharmaceutical science, such as video numbers and shivering, with a total of more than 8 million broadcasts and nearly 200,000 fans, creating a group of gas-based, popular “net-red pharmacists” to allow the rational use of medicinal knowledge to fly into people's homes。
In response to weaknesses in the safety of drug use, a 300-strong pharmacist volunteer service was active throughout the year at the grass-roots level. They reach out to community villages for more than 100 periods of public service activities such as “family medicine boxing”, “cleaning out out out out of time drugs”, provide home-to-door drug guidance to the elderly, people in remote areas and fellow ethnic minorities, and solve the “last kilometre” problem of grass-roots medicine with professionalism and affection。

The sichuan provincial drug authority has innovatively constructed a three-pronged training module, “basic + specialization + progress”, which forms a complete system of seven forms of training and eight modules. More than 90 authoritative teacher teams developed nearly 400 courses, with an average of over 30,000 training sessions per year, providing continuous professional empowerment to more than 110,000 chemists across the province。
The project “model for the development of pharmacology services for social pharmacists”, launched in 2019, has produced significant results, with the establishment of 109 pharmacological service standards over four years, the creation of 12 “patient-centred” pharmacology service models, the development of more than 80 cadres with drug treatment management capacity, and the provision of “sichuan experience” in the transformation of social pharmacies。
Looking ahead, the sichuan provincial drug authority will continue to deepen the development of a pharmaceutical service system, expand the empowerment of pharmacists at the grass-roots level, promote community-based pharmacological coordination schemes, pilot community-based pharmacological services, with a focus on specific groups such as the elderly and children, and further integrate resources to inject new energy into the development of healthy sichuan for public use of medicines。
