On the afternoon of 9 november, a 2019 fire drill was held at xu seki university of technology. The opening ceremony was attended by lee tao, standing committee, vice-chancellor and director of the integrated school governance committee, and was chaired by chen jin, chief of the defence service. The first-ever fire drill was organized for the defence service, with the aim of promoting fire safety awareness, raising fire safety awareness and enhancing fire emergency self-help capabilities. The event consisted of four competitions involving students and teachers from 21 second-tier establishments and teams of employees from 5 property companies。


At the opening ceremony, li tao stated that fire safety was a matter of social stability and the life and property of the state, schools and teachers. From a political high of strong “four consciousness” and firm commitment to “two preservation”, full awareness of the critical importance of fire safety and of the serious consequences and adverse effects of major accidents. He hoped that teachers and students would be able to learn more about fire safety through hands-on exercises, raise fire safety awareness and enhance the capacity of fire emergency self-help. He stressed that “the experience of the ex-car, the after-career”, fire safety work had only a starting point and no end point. The establishment of a good fire safety order in schools is a prerequisite and key to the development of our school teaching, research and research. We must create a strong fire safety awareness “to cherish life, stay away from fire”, raise fire safety to a higher level and make our efforts to build a good fire-fighting environment on campus。

On the occasion of the “119” national fire day, it was reported that the department had conducted a series of fire safety activities, including a fire safety awareness competition, a fire emergency evacuation exercise at the remo apartment, a fire safety awareness exhibition and a fire safety seminar, involving more than 1,000 teachers and students from over 50 secondary units。
Through this series of fire safety activities, teachers and students have been motivated to learn about fire safety and have been trained in fire suppression and life-saving capabilities, which will play a role in effectively preventing or reducing the occurrence of fire incidents and in ensuring safe and stable schools。
