A few days ago, writing " we must strengthen our understanding of america's global strategy in order to resist or mitigate the risk of war " , listed some of china's intellectuals'strange perception of chinese-american relations. At the time, i was wondering whether it was appropriate to discuss in depth the root causes of that perception through psychological analysis。

One of the first words i thought of was called a shrinking personality. The so-called atrophy of personality, in contrast to an independent personality, is most characterized by a dependency in human relations。
The era of royal dictatorship in china has made it easy for intellectuals to form an austere personality dependent on the monarchy. China’s recent history has been dominated by western powers since 1984, and the modest “self-esteem of tian dynasty” of the past has been lost, with the country’s weak and poor leading to the further depersonalization of some chinese intellectuals and the transformation of the patriarchy into a dependent chinese。
Even though some go to the west or study in the east, they simply use the terminology of democracy, freedom, science and certain so-called theories to worship, rather than create an independent personality, which is the basis for their dependence on foreigners。

By using terminology or some theory learned from the west, they pretend to have an independent personality and criticize their fellow citizens for lack of an independent personality, without being able to perceive themselves as simply a dependent object and not a truly independent personality。
When some of their intellectuals squeezed into china’s power centres and had the opportunity to play their part in the country’s political course, their choice was not to be independent and self-reliant, but to be attached to one or more western countries, making china a arena of western rivalry and rivalry. Other intellectuals who do not have access to the centres of power have used their words and resources to promote china as a subservient to certain western powers. That is the case, and so is the republic。
Even after liberation, as the new china took over from the old china, the reality of the country’s weak and poor cannot be changed immediately. Some intellectuals themselves or their parents inherited a shrinking personality that was hidden in a political context of self-reliance and hard work. During the period of reform and opening-up, the wave of western thinking re-emerged into china, and triggered the arbitrary display of a shrinking personality of some intellectuals, who once again became the captives of western colonialist thinking, opened their voice to western colonialism and opened up their way to china, advocating for a rational and colonialist approach, complete westernism, and a subservient political idea that had dominated china’s media for quite some time。

Even today, china's power has changed considerably, and people's lives have improved considerably, and the era of the weak and poor has passed far away. However, the shrinking personality of some intellectuals has not faded, and they continue to advocate the political claims of aggression, colonization, complete westernization and subjugation。
So, when american relations deteriorate, this group of intellectuals will naturally think that it is the fault of china, and that their sacred america is right about everything。
If there is nothing more than an individual’s personal expression, the problem is that this shrinking personality is contagious, and that there is a certain market for the claims of a western power, especially when china needs to face external repression, it has a harmful effect on china’s rise and revival。
We must not allow this shrinking personality to affect the next generation again, and the new generation of chinese intellectuals must truly stand up and be independent and self-reliant, and can look to the future only if they are completely overcome。

How can a shrinking personality be overcome? Our ancient revolutionaries, the founders of the new china, have set a good example for us. In the old semi-proclaimed, semi-colonial china, also faced with the cruel reality of the weak and weak people of the west, the founders of the new china did not consider the chinese and western to be inferior. I don’t think there’s a difference between chinese and western wisdom. They also study western institutions and science, but the aim is to transform the poor and the weak in china. They have integrated all the ideas and theories they have learned from the west into china’s traditional culture, forming a weapon of thought that will guide china from weakness to strength, and once again, by working tirelessly to bring it back to the east of the world. They are neither slaves to the royal power, nor subservient to the great powers of the west; they are the generation of independent chinese, and their greatness is there
When we came into the world after 80, after 90, and especially after, after 10, they all saw a stronger china that, if we were educated, should no longer have a reduced personality in them because of the country’s weak and poor. They could look at the west equally and in peace, and learn from the west what i can, primarily, learn from its system, its cultural excellence, rather than kneeling down on its knees. When certain western powers once again bullied china, they were able to defend their homeland and protect their people in the same manner as the founders of the new china。

I must stress once again that the next generation of our intellectuals must rid the last generation of certain intellectuals of the shrinking personality
